Fellowship in Development Research (Enrollment Deadline: April 8, 2024)

Dear Selected Fellows,

We would like to notify you of being selected in our fellowship in development research which tackles the complex and persistent challenges of poverty and development in underserved communities.

Our Fellows consist of individual researchers working remotely on carrying out research on themes close to those of our programmes. Fellows will be in the network of an IDR affiliate and will be able to make original contributions to our programmes and thematic areas. They will continue to work or study in their current positions and various locations, but will interact with IDR as a part of the Fellowship.

Fellows will work out how they would like to contribute: send in a paper, write a short one-page note, suggest links and websites or other ways that would enhance the programme’s content. Fellows could also suggest new topic sub-categories (within the existing focal themes and sub-themes), but will be responsible to fill it up in its entirety.

At the end of this programme, fellows will gain edge over a significant number of fully-funded scholarships offered by universities, foreign governments and international organizations that support humanitarian and development-related studies.

This programme is self-paced. Fellows and selected postgraduate observers will connect to the learning platform at their own time, access learning materials and return tasks within a reasonable deadline.

Note: If you are already enrolled to the graduate internship in international development programme, you need not take this fellowship.
