Programme Overview
The programme provides an understanding of and practice in RFPs and grant proposal writing for non-profits and foundations. The programme is designed for both novice and experienced grant-seekers, it is a comprehensive, hands-on training that covers researching funding sources and writing award winning proposals.
Further, the programme will teach you how to use a standard proposal writing format, the most widely used in the development sector. Fellows will leave this programme with new skills and the ability to apply those skills to the needs of their own organization and community.
The programme introduces the fundamentals of global development to provide a solid background of programme implementation of donor-funded projects in the aid sector, then unfolds to the actual phase of writing proposals and grants with team review and guidance.
This program was developed in consultation with NGOs to ensure what you learn is current and practical. Trainees will connect to the learning platform at their own time, access learning materials and return tasks within a reasonable deadline.
